The Faculty of Electrical Engineering Czech Technical University in Prague retains a standard of the most prestigious research and educational technical institution in the Czech Republic. Industrial practice and collaboration with institutions such as Google, ABB, IBM, Samsung and many others, is both the source of inspiration and measure of success for our teaching and research. Faculty of Electrical Engineering opened Master Degree Programme in Biomedical Engineering and Informatics (BMII) in the academic year 2011/2012. This programme builds on the tradition of research and teaching in the field of Biomedical Engineering at FEE. The program offers two branches (specializations), namely Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Informatics. The aim is to educate graduates in attractive and promising interdisciplinary areas where technical sciences meet biology and medicine. In these areas, the Faculty has an international reputation in scientific research activities and tradition in collaboration with the medical workplace and medical device manufacturers and teaching
