Masaryk University, located in Brno, is the second-largest public university in the Czech Republic and the leading higher education institution in Moravia. It is recognized as one of the most important teaching and research institutions in the Czech Republic and a highly-regarded Central European university. Masaryk University is currently educating over 35 000 students, 20 % of them international. The joint Master’s degree program International Relations offers a unique opportunity to study international relations at the leading universities of the Visegrad group countries: at Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland), Masaryk University (Czech Republic), University of Pécs (Hungary), Matej Bel University in Banska Bystrica (Slovakia). As a student, you will spend one semester at each partner university where you will not only learn about, but also directly experience, the specific political and cultural environment of each country. The curriculum covers international law, economics, politics, and culture in light of the European integration processes as seen from the standpoint of the V4.
