The MA in Fine Art is a flagship programme for the School of Art and Design at Prague College. It is a two-year programme, suitable also for working students, designed to refine and develop practical and theoretical skills that are relevant to both inter- and transdisciplinary research in the arts, as well as exploration within individual artistic disciplines. It is open to students from a variety of backgrounds, including graduates, practising artists and designers, and mid-career professionals. It is tailored to students working individually and in small groups, and particularly well suited for artists committed to long-term exploration of negotiated self- and group-generated ideas and projects across a wide range of media, techniques and technologies. These range from the more traditional ones such as painting and sculpture, to photography, live art, advanced interactive digital technologies, video, sound and multimedia installation, complemented by ongoing critical and theoretical investigation.
