Study programmes taught in English
The Bachelor programme in Global Business and Management (GBM) combines the study of Economics, Management and Psychology. Students will gain hands-on business experience, as well as the practical and theoretical knowledge they need to succeed in today’s globalised business environment.
The Master programme in Economics and Sustainable Management (ESM) is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle today’s economic challenges. ESM allows students to enhance their expertise and advance their career in a rapidly evolving global landscape. This program will be available from 2025.
Our specialised postgraduate MBA AI in Business program quips managers with the expertise to harness the transformative power of artificial intelligence. Offered in a hybrid mode, the program welcomes a diverse international cohort, fostering a rich, multicultural learning environment. Participants will delve into the fundamentals of AI, exploring its principles, capabilities, and the challenges of integrating these technologies into existing business frameworks.

Admission and entrance exams
We welcome applications from individuals with a minimum of a High School Diploma, communicative level of English, and an interest in studying applied business. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, subject to programme capacity. In order to apply, applicants first need to fill out the typeform and record a short video (explaining their motivation). Selected applicants will then be invited to interview.

Pre-programme support
Our comprehensive pre-programme support will help you to prepare for studying at NEWTON. Our admissions team offers support with everything from visa applications, to getting non-European certifications officially recognised.While a B2 level of English is required for enrollment in the program, we offer a Foundation Year for students who want to strengthen their business English writing and presentation skills in their first year of study.
Student accommodation
In order to support you to find accommodation, we’ve partnered with Spotahome, an online platform with verified properties, straightforward contracts, and detailed information about the property and the neighbourhood. Or, if you prefer the option of a private dormitory, we recommend plenty of options in the Digital Welcome Desk, where you get access once you have been accepted to NEWTON.
NEWTON Business Accelerator
NEWTON Business Accelerator programme supports entrepreneurial students to set up their own business during the course of their studies. The accelerator offers support to create credible business plans, as well as practical support to grow and scale the business once it’s off the ground. One of the first enterprises to be supported by the accelerator is a project creating edible cups to reduce plastic waste. The company, set up by two second year students, is gaining widespread media attention in Czechia and beyond.
NEWTON Minds
NEWTON University attracts a diverse range of fascinating individuals from both Czechia and abroad. We regularly host speakers with international experience and a global perspective. In 2024, we were honoured to welcome Harvard professor Amy C. Edmondson, a world-leading expert on psychological safety. Her insightful lecture at NEWTON emphasised the importance of embracing mistakes and highlighted the connection between development - both personal and corporate - and psychological safety.
