The Faculty of Applied Sciences is a modern, multidisciplinary faculty that offers unique opportunities for all those who want to participate in cutting-edge research and innovation and keep their finger on the pulse of the times. We offer physics, mechanics, civil engineering, cybernetics, mathematics, geomatics, and computer science studies. We pay special attention to the field of biomedical engineering, which includes disciplines such as biomechanics, biocybernetics, and bioinformatics.

Our students can be involved in developing new methods and devices that can improve healthcare and quality of life. We collaborate with several leading Czech and international research institutions and industrial partners, including medical institutions. Our cooperation with these entities allows students to work on real projects and gain valuable experience that is invaluable in the job market. We place great emphasis on supporting students in gaining valuable international experience. Thanks to a wide range of programs such as Erasmus and Freemovers, our students can travel to dozens of countries worldwide.

We offer various study programs at all levels – bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral. Our faculty is the right choice if you are interested in innovative technologies, research, and international cooperation. We currently have open admissions for bachelor’s and doctoral programs. Those interested in the bachelor’s program can apply until March 31, 2025, while applications for the doctoral program are accepted in the first round until 28 February and in the second round until May 31 May, 2025.
