VŠE Prague improved its rank in the Financial Times’ Ranking
In the European Business Schools Ranking 2020 published by Financial Times (FT), the Prague University of Economics and Business ranked 50th, which is an improvement by five places compared to 2019, and ranked 2nd in Central and Eastern Europe.
The first three places of the ranking went to the French HEC Paris, the British London Business School and the French INSEAD. Overall, among the 90 best European schools, 22 were from France and 19 from Great Britain. The Prague University of Economics and Business was the only university from the Czech Republic which made the ranking.
The FT rankings are based on data provided by universities and their graduates. The four main criteria are MBA programs, Executive Education programs, follow-up master’s programs in management and the quality of the academic staff (share of PhD teachers, number of foreign teachers and women´s representation). The ranking represents the overall scores that each school has achieved for each category and measures the schools’ quality and breadth of programmes. This year, quality has been given greater emphasis.
