The online form of study at Unicorn University is exactly what I was looking for,“ explains sprinter Matej Krsek, who can combine school with training, which was impossible with full-time study, and appreciates the online availability of all study materials. „Thanks to this, I don’t have to bring scripts or textbooks to the training camp, and it really suits me that I can study whenever I have time,“ he adds.

Similar reasons for studying at Unicorn University were given by last year’s world champion in water slalom, kayaker Vit Prindis, who previously studied at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University. „I have completed years of full-time study at a public university, and although physical contact with teachers and classmates is very important, the key for me now is exclusively online study. I believe many athletes would take advantage of it if they knew about it,“ Prindis evaluates. „The Business Management course I am studying here is a great complement to my existing education and contributes to my future focus on sports organization, which I want to pursue after my sporting career,“ adds the thirty-five-year-old kayaker, who won a silver medal in the kayak cross at the World Cup in Cracow.
