Student Ambassadors: Seokhyeon from South Korea

I studied at UJOP, the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies at Charles University for 6 months. The school is located in the capital city – Prague – which is beautiful and convenient, so my stay there was really good. My major was Czech & Slovak language, so I was mostly focused on the use of the languages, but also on the affairs in the European Union.

My highlights of my stay in the Czech Republic include the local soccer league, snowboarding in Černá Hora in Krkonoše Mountains and Czech beer! I would recommend international students to obtain the ISIC card upon arrival to the Czech Republic as the country has well organized welfare system for students and one can find many discounts or promotions for student through the internet or pamphlet.
